Accreditation is a recognition of a laboratory’s technical competence.

The Assay Laboratory is the first public laboratory to receive accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 from MAURITAS and has successfully maintained its accreditation since April 2008.

The Assay Laboratory is organised to operate in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and of MAURITAS for the testing of gold and silver jewellery and their alloys.
