An Identification Mark consists of the manufacturer’s mark whose gold jewellery the dealer has imported or intends to import for sale in Mauritius.

Prior to selling the jewellery, the dealer shall register the Identification Mark with the Director, Assay Office. A facsimile of the Mark shall be submitted by the dealer for registration and a Certificate of Registration of Identification Mark will be issued.

Registration fee of Identification Mark: Rs3,000.
